Abstract
The National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology, and Education (NCITE) Center has been tasked by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to support evidenced, novel frameworks that accurately represent the current nature and future trajectory of the terrorist use of unmanned aerial system (UAS) threat. In support of a subject matter expert summit meeting to be hosted in early 2025, the project team has completed three rapid review reports which focus on key dimensions of the issue, which include emerging trends, the logic of terrorist UAS exploitation, and related risk factors.
